The Xbox Ambassador program is really a success. Not only the amount of participants has increased a lot since the first wave, some side projects were born to support this amazing idea.

After our page on MySpace, now we have a whole blog from us to the Xbox Community all around the globe. Its name is XA Blogger Site. Of course that I am already an active member there as well and I would like to invite you to drop by and leave us your impressions.

A small change of plans...

Since tomorrow, I will be a little busier with some "family affairs" than I expected first, I will be online earlier and not for so long.

But to compensate it, I will be extending my stay this evening.

Introduction and list

Since I am not sure whether I will have much time to post tomorrow, I would like to share here the sweet introduction Trixie wrote about the Xbox Ambassadors and the list with all the selected gamers separated by the languages spoken and time zones.

Schedule

To my surprise, I found out a schedule for the Xbox Live Free Gold Weekend that starts tomorrow.
For the ones interested, check it here.

Since I don't own all the games selected (I'm not really a sports game fan), I will let here my personal schedule.
On these hours, I will be online playing those games for sure.
I will try to expand it, but as nothing is sure yet, I prefer not to go deep on it.
So, here we are:

Friday, March 31:
- 12AM - 8AM: Halo2 (I am not a specialist at all, but I will try to be there for as long as I can);
- 11PM - 7AM (Saturday): Call of Duty 2 (again, I will be there for as long as I can).
Saturday, April 1:
- 8PM - 10PM: PDZ (I can't miss my sweety).
Sunday, April 2:
- 12AM - 7AM: GRAW (see, Halo 2);
- 10PM - 12 AM: Halo 2 (just to finish the event).

Remember that these times are PST!

I hope everyone will have lots of fun during this weekend and that will be the first of many, not only in the USA, but in all countries with Xbox Live.

Xbox Ambassador

Now that more people are talking about it, I will share it as well.
Yesterday morning, I was checking some forums and at one of them, I read that some people had been accepted for the Xbox Ambassador program.
I went checking my mail box immediately and to my surprise, I had been selected too.

For those who might not know what exactly it means, please check it here.
Briefly, some of us will be "guiding" Silver/new members around on the Xbox Live during the Free Xbox Live Gold Weekend that takes place from Friday, March 31 until Sunday, April, 2.

I decided joining the program because I still remember very well that I was helped a lot when I first signed in.
People here and on the Live gave me so much supported and showed me the way in such a friendly way that I felt I could do the same for others.
So now, here I am!

For those who also applied but didn't get any feedback from Trixie, there is no need to worry.
She received too many email and, according to her, she will be replying everyone little by little.
There are plans for future events that might require more Xbox Ambassadors, so don't give up!

Although it is an event exclusive to the USA, I hope I will also have the chance to help other language speakers (like Spanish, for example).

Anyway, I am very excited about it!
I will be sharing my impressions with you guys later.
