Hi girls & guys,

How is the weekend going so far? Mine is fine.

Even though I was a little bit late for a screenshot, I would like to thank everyone who stopped by BM2 Love Angel during the past week.
This blog reached more than 500 hits in 7 days and I can only thank you all for the support.
(just adding that I know it is a humble number if compared to the great blogs around, but I am still proud of it)

OMG! Now I completely understand the feve around Animal Crossing.
Man! That thingie is addicting.... I am totally in love with it.

Tomorrow, I will be back to work. I am not feeling that bad anymore. My body is still kind of weak (or maybe it is just my blood pressure that insists to stay low), but as a whole, I am doing fine.

This evening it is DOA4 time. I am really looking for it as I couldn't make it to practice last week.

Hey! What are you plans for Valentine's Day? Are you celebrating it anyway? If yes, share your plans (if you can ;-))?

Last Saturday, I did get myself THP8.
It is fun, but I still need to get accustomed to the whole skating with the controller thingie.
Needless to say that I picked a girl to be my character. I will try to nice a pic of Angelickx for you next time.

However, it was not the only thing I got myself this (longer) weekend.
As I was home today, I went to Brussels and there I found the sandals I have been chasing in the Mango shops for months!
Even thought they are sandals, they were only recently released. I will be exposing my feet to cold and rain later this week, but I will wear them.
I am not trying be like Trixie, but I will be adding a picture of it at the end of this entry.

Today, I was checking some new stuff to add here and I decided to put a Digg it button on my entry with the interview with Max Beland I posted here.
If you want to see how it looks (and support me), take a look at the result.

I read this week an article on DarkSilverMoon's site on an update to the DS Lite.
My excitement was so big that I forgot that the release was only on December 8th and went looking for it already. Silly me...

Tomorrow I have to go back to work again.
I am hoping I will be able to take a longer period next week. I am looking forward working on PGR3 skills now and I need time for that.
I will keep you posted about my 'improvements' like I used to about shooting adventure.

I think I owe everybody an explanation

I prefer not apologizing or promising stuff anymore because it is ridiculous to say that I'm sorry for my absence or that I will be back again and then, not doing it.
At the moment, I see time to show up at least once a week here and I will try my best to do so, but if I don't make it, believe me: there was some real reason for that.

So, what have I been doing all this time?
First it was work.
The very first week and half of the second one was way too easy. I didn't really have access to a PC and to the programs I need to work, so I pretty much sat around there and did nothing.
Unfortunately, it caused me to rush like crazy afterwards.
Instead of leaving work at 5PM, I was going home at 7PM or even 10PM. I don't know whether you still remember that I need at least 1.5 hour to get home from work and since I wake up at about 5:45AM, I was worn out.

I know that weekends are made for us to rest, but my brain cells were not working this way and I found myself in a deep depression. Like one of those I have had before, but the fact that I had little (or almost no) time to work it out, it kept hauting me for the past 3 weeks.
It was just too much for me to fight... My body was tired, my mom has recently gone under a serious surgery and I couldn't be with her (she has been having some ups and downs as well and it does concern me) and the ordinary life problems that we all have, but that once you are not OK, they are very destructive.

I normally don't like to talk about such stuff, but I do think I owe you all an explanation.
I'm awfully sorry for what happened and I am fighting my ghosts so that I can be 100% back on the block (despite the hours limit) both on the Internet and on the Xbox Live.

Hi girls and guys!

It is a short message, I know, but I just didn't want to leave you without anything from my side.
I will be retributing the visits tomorrow, but I would like to thank you all who stopped by.

A little on my side...
I am very happy with work!!! Of course that I am not going to stop complaining about it not being at MS, but I am on a department I love and I have great bosses in all levels.
After all the hard moments I had since the end of last year, I am very relieved for all the love, care and support I have been receiving from my ex-ex-colleagues.
Since I have to wake to early in the morning, I get home beat and that is why I didn't write before. In addition, I have to leave everything ready for the following day, so it is not that simple.

Just not to say that I didn't talk about games at all, I would like to share the preview of DOA Xtreme 2 and review of DOA 4 that were posted at XUG.
You all know that I am a major fan of the serie, but I would appreciate to know your opinion about the titles and the articles.

Anyway, I justed to let you know that I am doing fine, that I miss you all and that I haven't forgetten about my Gaming Dream.

The age is changed now.
It is funny, but I feel way much better this year than I when I reach the 3.0 on the scale.
I guess it is the pressure imposed by society, mainly on women. It is like we have to feel old. And I must admit that I felt horrible for the past 2 years or so because of it.
Maybe it is some sort of comformation since there is nothing I can about it and mainly because I don't feel the need of worrying anymore.
I am who I am and that is it.

I am feeding my ego and adding some pictures of yesterday.
As I have said before, it was not really a party, but a family dinner with my bf and his parents and we had a nice time together.
I love Chinese food!!!!!

I guess that after my blog of yesterday I can't deny the title of MS fanboy (or should I say fangirl?) anymore.
But the truth is, while watching Sony's E3 Press Conference today, I didn't feel the same enthusiasm coming from them.
It was like they were apologizing the whole time for last year's fiasco and I got extremely bored.
Well, they could have showed all their stuff in half of the time and make it an interesting presentation.
Anyway, we will see...

I also have a huge favor to ask all my friends out there.
You probably have been reading that I am playing much less these days than I used to until about a month or so ago.
So, those with patience and time to go for some GRAW with me, please, let me know it, ok?
Just tell me when you generally play (day of the week, hours and time zone).
I don't feel as much at ease as I used to, but I don't want to let it go for too long.
I don't want to get anyone out of their routine, but if you still go online on GRAW, let me know it, all right?

Busier than ever

I am still not gaming as much as I wanted to. Why? I am still busy.
I have been having to do some "real-life" stuff as well and this is taking part of my time and a lot of my energy.
But the good news is that yesterday's check went well. I still feel like "rushing" all the time, but I guess I will have to wait for the next one to be sure if it is anything I should worry about.
I didn't want to leave you all without news from my side for long. I apologize.

Now I can finally say: GRAW Co-op is fun!!!!
I have just played one mission, but I adored it.
Is there anyone out there who still goes for it? If so, just let me know and when you are generally online (hour and time zone, please).
I would love to play them all with my friends.

So, what is everyone up to?
I miss "hearing" your news too.

All I can say is that I miss you all very much.
That thing of not posting here everyday is not good... Maybe it won't last long. We will see...

Surfing around

Well, after two days straight with headache, I hope I'm experience its end today...
I game much less than I wanted to, but still managed to join my friends for some GRAW and again, I'm doing better than in the beginning.
I guess it proves that I am on the right path, just need (a lot) more practice.

Back to the world of female gamers, this week has great news (well, not really news anymore) about girl gamers.
First of all, the podcast of Major Nelson with some of the PMS Clan leaders.
It was my first time listening to his podcast and after that one, I will surely be a constant there.
I did listen to it because of the girls. I have said it before, I don't think it is ever enough: I them all!

Also, the Frag Dolls are moving forward with their USA casting.
Needless to say that from the 8 finalists, 4 are PMS girls (You go, Girls!!!).

After a long break...

This time I decided to take another break again.
Besides sending "happy Easter" messages, I didn't do much the past few days.
I had worked too much with the computer and almost returned to my headache routine. So, I had to stop for a while.

It was not like I was completely away from the Internet, but I spent more time visiting forums and blogs and writing stuff that I might be sharing with you soon.
I have been also reading a lot on games as a whole.
I have discovered very interesting new sites with professional and independent material that has been catching my attention.
More later...

I played little.
Even if one doesn't really celebrate Easter, there is always something to do, a family reunion and stuff like that.
Anyway, I had a good time.

Even though this site is in English and most of my visitors (if not all of them) are English speakers, I can't help annoucing the opening of the new Xbox Team Portugal.
Not only the site itself has a new lay-out, but the content and philosophy about is different.
I am again a proud member of the staff (I chose to help only with two boards so that I could cope it with my other Internet activities) and hope that this it will be to stay.

A final note is about my also renewed GamertagPics Intro.
I'm not sure about adding more pictures yet, but it looks much better now.
All the previous templates were not well done and I didn't like it much.
Finally, I can say I have an OK page there too.
They do have a blog there, but instead of posting directly, I just use the feeds from here.
I can't afford to have other blogs anymore.

A little bit on different things...

I didn't play that much this weekend.
I just spent my time time doing other stuff...

It seems that the new song is not playing here. I have changed it some days already, but I wonder what is going on.
Probably the host site is not working that well as announced.

This weekend, I also made some changes on MySpace.
I have a new layout at http://myspace.com/bm2loveangel now and the music is different too.
I might change a couple of things during the week, but not that many.

My bf got better and on Saturday we went to the movies and watched V for Vendetta.
I read the comic book not long ago and even though there were some major changes in the story, I liked it.
The book has an imense universe that simply wouldn't fit in a film, unless they simplified it.
The fact that they used present issues instead of the ones written was also very interesting.
Except for that "I love you" thingie, it was a very good movie.
It's a pity that comics are still treated mostly as kid's stuff (just like games) and such awesome works stay unknown to the great public until they are touched by Hollywood.

I changed my gamerpicture, but I see that most gamertags aren't showing it yet.
I have the GRAW set now, so my gamerpicture now matches my the theme on my 360.

Here I go with the first article about female gamers.
This one is about the recent issue on giving a "different treatment" to women in the games world.

A general update

I finally managed to change the song here.
It was not that I had forgotten about it, but the host was down for some days and only today I could upload Moonspell's Luna.
I hope you will like it!

The weekend was very busy!!!
Not only because of the Xbox Live Gold Free Weekend but because of some stuff I had to do around here.

I decided that I am going to restart Oblivion.
My character doesn't "look like me" and it has been very annoying.
Unfortunately, I am not sure whether I will have the chance to work on it on the following days, but I will make it.

After the headache...

Hi everyone!

As the title implies, I did have another headache yesterday.
I just played some Bejeweled 2 (I am going for the Endless mode ).
I want to be more on the Live.
I really had a great time playing last Monday and I realized I should be doing it more.
Just sitting around and thinking stupid things doesn't help one get better.
Watching Sex And The City yesterday also helped me feel not so "ancient".

Yesterday, I download the GRAW Theme Pack for the 360.
Until then, I used only the original one, but this one is really beautiful.
It is worth it!

Talking about going more on the Live...
Has any of you already tried COD2 online after the patch?
I am very curious about it.
I read someone say that it was working well, but I would love to hear it from other people too.

In the beginning of the week, I found a test and I decided to take.
Here is my result.

Lazy and bored...

In the morning, I worked on MySpace, I did some stuff around the place and that was it.
I am in a veryyyy lazy mood today, and at the same time, I am bored.
I will try going online later since it is always fun to meet people. Even if it is just for a little while.

Last evening I went out to grab something to it, so I sort of made a costume not to differ too much from the Carnaval people.
