August 24 New gadgetsThe Soul Calibur IV fever just increases every day. I still feel way far from the level I could call competitive, but I am not giving it up at all. Last week, I received my copy of the official Soul Calibur IV guide. Needless to say that I have been devouring it since day. I wish I could learn by osmosis or anything similar. Amy is a new character, so it feels like that there is a long way ahead of me before I become a badass with her. The other news is that my glasses are ready and I finally picked my iPhone. Even though I do not need any corrective glasses, due to the constant use of computers (at work and at home) and the LCD TV for gaming, I was getting constant headaches and sore eyes. I was not even sleeping well anymore. I was really glad when they called me last Friday saying that I could pick up my glasses. I am not exaggerating when I say that I feel a lot better now. It has been only a little more than a day, but I don't have pain anymore and have been sleeping like a baby. I still have to wait until the 10th of September to start using the 3G features of my iPhone, but I am already more than excited about it so far. Mine is a white one. It is awesome to be able to be in touch with everyone all the time. Mainly for me whose friends are at least on the other side of the ocean... I hope you are all enjoying yourselves and having a great time! *cheers*
August 17 Blame it on SC IVHi everyone, I have been away, I know. This time however, I might have been away from blogging but closer to gaming. I have mentioned some times that the lack of free of time is a constant in my life so, I have to choose my activities. At the moment, there is one that is taking away all of my free time (and I am doing it with a lot of pleasure) and it is playing Soul Calibur IV. You probably already know that I am loving that game, but what you may not know is that we are starting a PMS|H2O Soul Calibur IV Division and after sending my application and being interviewed, I was chosen as the division's Co-Leader. Man! I couldn't be happier than that. Needless to say that I am keeping myself busy with it. I finally made up my mind about the character I will be working on and it is Amy. It is not an easy task if compared to Talim, for example, but I am enjoying the challenge. ^_^ If you would like to join our Division, please visit the PMS Clan forums and let us know about your interest. We have practices at different times of the day to welcome gamers from all over the globe. Have a great time!
August 08 PMS EU on the SpotlightEvery month, on the PMS Clan site, there are members who are interviewed for the Spotlight Gamer session of the site. This month, PMS EU has its 3 leaders featured. I really recommend you reading what Krystal PMS, Uteena PMS and Armaggedon H2O have to say. They are great players and amazing people. *game on*

July 29 Talking Community - episode 4I'm all Soul Calibur 4, baby!
July 24 Gimme the grid!!!One of the problems that I face as a gamer, an employer and a house"wife" is the lack of time for gaming. After spending the whole day in front of the computer, trying to decode invoices, expense notes and reconciliations, I generally get home wasted. Even though I do bring out my sports clothes hoping that I will have the chance to burn some calories and get in shape again, most of the time, my plans remain just plans. What can you do when real life gets in the way? Go handheld! The (P!nk) PSP has recently become my GPS as well. Having it always in my bag is a matter of necessity. My other companion is my (pink) DS Lite. I leave my MP3 on it and one of my puzzel addictions: Sudoku (Gridmaster). Maybe you will think that I am crazy for playing with numbers when I already have to deal with them during the whole day at the office. However, I love it. I find it so exciting... Most of my sleepless nights are also spent with the grids. I just take to bed and it is all about fun. For the Xbox Live Arcade fans, the version available for download is also a sweetie. Highly recommended as well. My DS's battery must be almost fully charged by now. See you all soon! *grid on*
July 21 Frag Dolls UK say "good-bye"It is not really news, but I felt like commenting a little on it. On June 30th, 2008, Frag Dolls UK announced on their official blog that it was time to say good-bye... For the girls themselves, it is not like they vanished from the gaming scenario. In fact they are already doing great on the blog Ready Up!. The sad news in my opinion is that it feels like female gamers are being again abandoned, left on their own, by the fact that Ubisoft is not officially supporting their overseas teams anymore (FD France was gone last year as well). What does it really mean? Is female gaming being pushing away from the spotlight? Should we crawl under the table with our controllers in our hands, ashamed for being gamers? I somehow feel very sad about it. I do hope I am simply being pessimistic about it all and that maybe, who knows, Ubisoft (as well as other publishers/developers/members of the industry) will come out with better news for the female gamers from this side of the ocean... Until then: game on (European) girlz!!!
July 20 Talking Community - episode 3Let's talk about ratings. I'll be looking forward your opinion and suggestions. *game on*

July 16 FlowerOf course that Gears of War 2 is the greatest game shown in E3 08 so far. And sincerely, I don't think any other title can surpress it. However, another game has caught my attention and believe it or not, it is a PS3 one. The name? Flower. It might sound funny because they are completely different from each other, but it is just that magic of beautiful images, nature and an incredible soundtrack. I have just watch a demonstration on Gamespot's live show with Kristin "Batgirl PMS" Reilly and I am even more in love. If you haven't seen anything from this game, here is a video for you. Enjoy it! *game on* YouTube - Flower for PS3 in HD part 1. E3 08 July 14 MS ConferenceEven though I missed the end of the Microsoft's Conference (my neighbor rang on my door), I would like to write a little bit about my general impressions.
First of all, I miss Peter Moore. I am a big fan of him and his charisma. Nothing against Don, but no one can beat Peter's charm.
I loved the new Dashboard. It does look nice and easy to use. The only question is about all the money invested in themes... That kind of hurt the feelings of my wallet.
One thing no one can deny is that the Avatars are cool. Not childish like the Wii ones, but they are very cute too. I like it. Mine will surely change of hairstyle as much as I do.
About the news: Gears of Wars is and will continue being THE Game! I am delighted by the demo of Cliffy B. I loved the first title and I am sure that I will adore the second one as well. I am so going to pre-order it asap!
Lips looks sweet. I do have Sing Star for the PS3 and I am fan of the genre. This is a must have for me without a doubt. Mainly with the songs that you can use from Zune. However, I hope it will work with other MP3 players and there is no sign of Zune coming overseas (ever).
Films for Europe?!? Yay!!!!!!
They finally discovered us and it makes me a happy angel.
Rock Band 2 is bringing a lot of sweetness too. More than 500 songs until the end of the this year??? AMAZING!!!!!!
Last, but not least, I am happy with the FF XIII news. I am not a FF fan, never played any of the games, but I think it is a great step taken by both Square Enix and Microsoft.
For the rest, too much was shown and I need to digest the information further. It is just the beginning of E3 and the conferences. A lot is still to happen.
Game on!
EDITING: Via the blog of Acey Bongos, I have found this letter from Marc Whitten giving more information about the Dashboard and its changes. It does enlight a lot of questions. See it on the Gamerscore Blog. July 13 Talking Community - episode 2Yes! It is true. Finally...
Today I recorded the second episode of my videoblog Talking Community.
It is again a short one, but it is really a warm up. I want to get it rolling again and for that, a first step had to be taken.
I hope you will like it.
Nice Sunday everyone!
July 10 Why the late hype?I don't know whether anyone is finding strange my sudden hype for an "old" game like Diablo II. If you are, let me explain it to you...
The thing is that I had the chance to be at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitation in Paris in the end of June. I worked at the booth of amBX and I was then and there when Diablo III was announced.
I went nuts! I am a major fan of Diablo and I couldn't believe I could hear the announcement on the spot.
Well, needless to say that after coming back, I got myself a copy of Diablo II (I had played only the first one a little after its launch) and I spending some quality time with it since then.
Man! I LOVE that game!!!
Great gaming everyone,
Angel.
July 08 Migraine + ShoppingI woke up this morning with a major migraine.
I guess one can call it a vacation syndrome. Whenever I have some kind of break, I get sick somehow. It happens since I was in basic school. It is too late to have hopes that it will ever change.
I had to take two pills against migraine and even though I can't say that I am 100% in shape, I feel much better now.
Since a week or so ago, there are sales in Belgium, so I am using most of my freetime practicing my shopping skills. And not forgetting about my gaming activities, I got myself a new headset to use when I play my beloved Diablo II. It is a Skullcandy. And of course, I got the pink one.
It fits sweet and I am about to test it.
Wishing you all a great time.
<3
Angel
Back on the block againI have postponed my come back for as long as I could. Why? Because of the fear of maybe needing to take a break again.
It might sound weird, but that is what it is.
During this sabbatic year, I worked a lot, went to Brazil to visit my family, changed my hairstyle a couple of times and bought a lof of stuff, including sweet gadgets.
Anyway, I will need some time to warm up again, but I am excited about the idea of starting blogging again.
I would like to thank those who kept in contact with me, who left messages and so on.
*much love to everyone*

June 20 When is it going to end?!?I am reading the news about Manhunt 2 in the UK and it did get me angry.
All this talk about how evil video games are for the poor children is making me sick. Do the people who create this non-sense watch TV? There is nothing more horrifying to me nowadays than watching the news!
Yesterday, seeing those almost lifeless kids in Irak, all those terrorists atacks here and there, the climate changing drastically due to irresponsible administrators all over the globe etc. How in God's name can someone say that just by banishing a game, the world will be a better place to live? Until when is this hypocrisy going to last?
If a child is raised in a caring and loving environment. If she or he is educated in order to become an adult with morals and who is able to respect society around them. If they realize that there has never been a "real" gamer involved in any crime or serial killing, I hope they will star working on what can really make a difference. I am tired of this crazyness. I really am!

June 18 Tomb Raider Secures World First With MicrosoftEpisodic Serialization on Xbox 360 for Tomb Raider Anniversary This is the first time ever that the serialization of a full retail game will be available for purchase through Xbox Live® Marketplace. The game will be available in four episodes; Episodes 1 & 2 will be available in September, with the next two episodes arriving shortly afterwards. A full retail version is planned to be released for Xbox 360 later in the year. “We have created this version of Anniversary specifically for digital distribution as episodic content. This is part of our strategy to grow our presence in online and digital distribution as we believe there are huge growth opportunities arising from this delivery format and we intend to capitalize on the increasing demand for digitally downloaded content,” said Jane Cavanagh, Chief Executive, Eidos. "Lara has always been at the forefront of technology and this world first initiative with Microsoft really highlights that fact. Ultimately we also intend to make the title available at retail so that it reaches the maximum possible audience.” “We’re continuing to break new ground in getting incredible gaming experiences in the hands of consumers,” said George Peckham, General Manager of 3rd Party Publishing, Xbox, Microsoft. “We’re excited to be able to deliver one of the most well-recognized franchises in video game history with Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary to our more than six million Xbox Live members worldwide in the form of episodic content.” The market for digital download of core PC and console games is expected to exceed $289 million by 2010, with Games on Demand services topping $104 million (ScreenDigest). Microsoft’s Xbox Live online gaming network can already boast over 2.3 billion hours of online gaming (this is equal to 95 million days or over 260,000 years) since its launch in 2004. Xbox 360 owners have activated more than 5 billion points (over $60 million) on marketplace with over 135 million downloads since the launch of Xbox 360 in 2005. Inspired by the first Tomb Raider videogame, originally released in 1996, LARA CROFT TOMB RAIDER: ANNIVERSARY is a totally new adventure for Lara, faithfully preserving the elements which made the original Tomb Raider such a classic (selling over 7 million copies worldwide). The Tomb Raider series is still one of the best selling videogame franchises of all time with over 32 million copies sold and two major feature films released, starring Angelina Jolie. Tomb Raider: Anniversary has also launched on Windows as part of Microsoft’s Games for Windows initiative, offering reliability, compatibility, and full support for play under Windows Vista™. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary will be available on Xbox 360 – episodically - from September. The Games for Windows® and PlayStation 2 versions have now been released worldwide, with both versions currently at No.1 in the UK and Germany in their respective charts, and No.1 in France on PC. A PSP version is due soon and a Nintendo Wii version is in development. In order to access Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary downloadable episodic content for Xbox 360, players will require a Lara Croft Tomb Raider Legend disc. The episodes will cost 2400 Microsoft points for all four episodes, and will be released in two separate launches. Episodes 1 & 2 will be released in September and episodes 3 & 4 will follow shortly afterwards. The Croft Manor level will be free to download with both sets of episodes. Additional Tomb Raider Anniversary downloadable content will also become available for purchase on Marketplace to support the launch of Tomb Raider Episodic such as picture packs and theme packs. Sorry but this workaholic friend of yours was dedicating all her time to her new job, but she has finally realized that there is life outside the office.
